The pause & return
Aloha beautiful soul family,
Sometimes just like the ocean…life’s waves and currents can often feel like alot. It can get intense, overwhelming, or simply too much. And in those moments, it is soooooo ok, more than ok, to take a break.
Sometimes the body says, not yet.
The heart whispers, just rest.
And that is sacred. That is healing too.
The last few days, I slept in the boot of my SUV in Garigal Country (Whale Beach). This wasn’t because I couldn’t afford an airbnb - it was because I wanted to feel deeply connected, nurtured and nourished by the land. With my partner away, and in between looking after the kiddies, myself, pouring love into my home, my animals and my clients….This was truly the medicine I needed.
In the past week I found myself running on adrenaline. And what I truly needed was a moment to reconnect with me, to feel held by nature, to watch the sunrise, feel the sun on my skin, heal with the trees and to allow the waves to gently lull me to sleep.
What my soul craved was to step back. To rest. To retreat. To go inward. To not answer the phone. To turn off the noise. To seek comfort in nature, just breathe and BE.
Taking a break isn’t weakness, it’s wisdom.
But the medicine of a break only works when we honour what comes next - THE RETURN
Eventually, we must come back.
Back to our bodies.
Back to the feelings.
Back to the conversations we’ve been avoiding.
Back to the pain we’ve tried to outrun or avoid.
Back to the truth underneath it all.
Because avoiding doesn’t make it go away.
It just delays the freedom we’re craving.
The peace. The relief. The clarity. The softness on the other side.
So if you’ve been in the pause - honour it.
If you’re starting to feel the pull to return - honour that too.
There’s no rush. No pressure.
Just a quiet invitation to come home to yourself.
To meet what’s here, gently.
To trust that you’re strong enough now to feel it… and move through. And if you need support, don’t be afraid to ask for it.
You don’t have to do it perfectly.
You just have to be open and willing.
This is your permission to rest and let go of control. And this is your encouragement to feel courageous to return.
We’re in this together.
We pause. We breathe. We come back. We face it. We rise (just like the sun rises each and everyday).
Infinite Divine Love and Light,
